D.1 Polarized solid targets

Activities at the Polarized Target aim at a further improved data taking for various photoproduction experiments off polarized protons and especially off polarized deuterons (neutrons) with the Crystal Barrel detector. For this the work is concentrated on the finishing of a new 3He/4He dilution refrigerator with various internal superconducting coil options. Target material optimization is focused on trityl doped d-butanol and on C8D8 and CD2 foil targets.
